Chris Courneya

Chris is responsible for the sourcing and acquisition of investment opportunities and develops the Firm’s investment strategy along with the leadership team. In addition to acquisitions, he provides support on dispositions and overall portfolio management. Chris is a member of the firm’s Management Committee.

Chris has over 18 year of commercial real estate industry experience. Before joining Founders Properties, Chris was most recently with Onward Investors, a Minneapolis-based real estate investment manager, where he was responsible for industrial, multi-family and office acquisitions in several markets across the United States. Prior to that, he worked as a portfolio manager with a focus on industrial and office properties at Unire Real Estate Group in Southern California. Chris began his career in structural engineering working on commercial developments and large infrastructure projects.

Chris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate Studies from the University of St. Thomas. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Minnesota chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).
