Minnetonka, Minnesota – Founders Properties, L.L.C. (“Founders”) today announced Bob Plumb, Executive Managing Director AEW Private Equity, has been elected to its board of managers. Bob brings 36 years of real estate industry leadership, including extensive acquisition and portfolio management experience.

Founders Properties is a privately held real estate investment company formed by two industry visionaries and leaders, Best Buy founder Richard Schulze and Opus founder Gerald Rauenhorst. Founders Properties manages a portfolio of institutional-grade properties throughout the United States

During Bob’s career, he has been responsible for the acquisition and restructuring of over
$25 billion in real estate transactions. Prior to his current role, Bob led AEW’s Direct Investment Group’s acquisitions and capital markets teams.
