Chris is a Managing Director at Founders Properties, where he leads the sourcing and acquisition of investment opportunities and is responsible for the firm’s investment strategy. Additionally, he plays an active role in strategic planning as a member of the firm’s Management Committee.

Since joining Founders in 2018, Chris has completed over $700M of acquisition, financing and joint venture transactions. He has nearly 20 years of commercial real estate industry experience.

Before joining Founders, he worked with Onward Investors, where he was responsible for industrial, multi-family, and office acquisitions in several U.S. markets. Prior to that, he worked as a portfolio manager with a focus on industrial and office properties at Unire Real Estate Group in Southern California. Chris began his career in structural engineering, working on commercial developments and large infrastructure projects.

He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, Pension Real Estate Association, and the Minnesota chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties.

Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Studies from the University of St. Thomas.
